1. OFFICIAL RULES
        a. Player identification

  1. Anyone can play the games and contests at PrizeRoom.com with or without identification.  However, in order to win prizes from participation in the PrizeRoom.com contests, a player MUST have an active and valid e-mail address that is registered to that individual or to a family member residing in the same household. 

  2. A maximum of three (3) different players residing in the same household may register using the same general e-mail address.  However, in this case, each player must have their own email name submit their Player Registration form and provide identification and password to PrizeRoom in advance of any prizes being sent.  (The following is an example  of multiple users in the same household: bob.bobsaccount@anyISP.net; jane.bobsaccount@anyISP.net; or even
     mom-bobsaccount@anyISP.net).

  3. Each players' email address will be his/her primary identification (ID).  Only one (1) game registration by any individual player is allowed.  Multiple registrations by a single person playing under different names will disqualify that player from winning prizes.   Registered players with multiple PrizeRoom.com player names are subject to immediate disqualification by PrizeRoom.com except under the circumstances of multiple players residing in the same household, as detailed above.

  4. Solely at its discretion, PrizeRoom.com  reserves the right to suspend or revoke the PrizeRoom.com player account of any registered player.  Upon playing any PrizeRoom.com game, all players release PrizeRoom.com  and its agents from all liability with respect to the use of the prizes awarded herein and agree to be bound by these Official Rules.

  5. PrizeRoom.com  and its agents are not responsible for technical, hardware or software failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmissions which may limit any player's ability to participate in PrizeRoom.com.

    b. Player Eligibility

  1. Anyone can play the games and contests at PrizeRoom.com.  However, the opportunity to win prizes in any PrizeRoom.com competition is available only to persons eighteen (18) years of age or older as of January 1, 2005 and/or the date of first play for any game. 

  2. The eligibility of all registered players to collect prizes on PrizeRoom.com is subject to all of the provisions contained in these Official Rules. No purchase necessary. Due to international shipping and handling regulations, some prizes may be limited to residents of the Continental United States. Void wherever taxed, prohibited or restricted by law. Subject to federal, state and local laws and regulations.

    c. Playing the Games at PrizeRoom.com

  1. Games must be played by answering the questions or solving the challenges making up the game as indicated in the Rules of Play for each game. 

  2. The games are dynamic.  If a game is played several times, it may change upon each access.  Many games will NOT be the same as  on the first time in play.

  3. For some games, a player may qualify for a prize when all questions are answered correctly -- regardless of how many tries it takes.  Many games require 100% correct completion for qualification to continue. 

  4. Some games will allow players to accrue "Frequent Player" points.  If a period of play is missed, some may have "make up" periods of possibilities and in some games a player may be able to qualify a maximum of two times a day up to the number of days in the game.  The Rules of Play for each game will dictate how each game is handled.

  5. A player can become an "Instant Winner" if he/she qualifies (i.e. gets all questions 100% correct or finishes the challenge in the optimal manner) on his/her first attempt of the day only.

  6. Descriptions of the Prizes applicable to each game are described on the Prizes page.

  7. Descriptions of the Games available at any given time are shown on the Games page.

    d. Fair Play

  1. All of PrizeRoom.com's games are designed for the enjoyment of our site visitors and game players. Real winners play fair and are considerate of others.

  2. The use of scripts or automated systems of any type to play any of the PrizeRoom.com games is strictly prohibited. Players engaging in activity of this type are immediately subject to total and permanent disqualification from that and any future games.

  3. Should PrizeRoom.com determine, in its sole discretion, that any registered player has violated any of the prohibitions contained in these Official Rules, PrizeRoom.com  is under no obligation to award any prizes won by such players.

2. DISCLAIMER

  1. This contest is void in every national, local, or other jurisdiction in which it is prohibited, regulated, or restricted by any law, statute, regulation, or other appropriate authority. PrizeRoom.com, its agents, its affiliates, and its sponsors do not warrant that this contest may be entered legally in any particular jurisdiction.

  2. By entering this contest, each participant warrants that he or she has read and agrees to abide by all contest rules and that he or she is not prohibited from participating in this contest by any applicable law, statute, regulation, or other appropriate authority. The participant further agrees to release PrizeRoom.com, its agents, its affiliates, and its sponsors from any and all liability arising from or related to this contest.
  3. The winner of any prize is solely responsible for any and all income, sales, excise, use, and customs taxes, duties, registration fees, shipping and handling costs or other such expenses that may accrue to that prize.  PrizeRoom.com, its agents, its affiliates, and its sponsors shall not be responsible for any such expenses.
  4. Due to international shipping and handling regulations, only residents of the Continental United States are eligible to compete for prizes.
  5. By registering with PrizeRoom.com and playing PrizeRoom.com's games, registrants consent to the use of their name and/or likeness for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation.
  6. PrizeRoom.com, its agents, its affiliates, and/or its sponsors reserve the right to terminate any game or contest, or to modify any rules, as may be deemed necessary for fair play of any other reason or as required by applicable law.
  7. PrizeRoom.com, its agents, its affiliates, and/or its sponsors are not responsible for computer errors or crashes or for lost or misdirected electronic or regular mail and will not make allowance for the occurrence of such mishaps even if such may affect the play of any game or contest..
